Gran Colombia Gold Confirms Resignation of a Director

TORONTO, July 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSX: GCM) confirmed today that Robert Hines has resigned from the Board of Directors effective July 18, 2014 as previously indicated in the Company's Management Information Circular dated April 23, 2014.
Lombardo Paredes Arenas, Chief Executive Officer of Gran Colombia Gold Corp., said, "On behalf of the Company, I would like to thank Mr. Hines for his excellent contributions and service as a director of the Company since August 2010. We wish him all the best."
The Company's Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee is continuing its search process and intends to appoint another director in place of Mr. Hines in the near future.
